I normally browse through a few favourite craft bloggers I follow either through Blog Lovin' or just have bookmarked on my IPad or Netbook, so today was pretty much no exception!
I came across Kairen from Karoove via Lou Mac and she has decided to set up a little challenge for everyone to take part in - on your own craft blog - and that is to blog something crafty everyday (yep, EVERYDAY!) throughout June!
Now if you're like me and a bit of part-time crafter - it's gonna be difficult! But lately with a bit of a loss of mojo and a lack of inspiration, I thought that this might be a great way to encourage me to craft something or at least contribute something crafty (inspiration, favourite products, favourite tools etc) to the crafty bloggersphere with this very challenging (see what I did there?!) challenge! So I'm actually going to attempt this! Think this maybe a challenge and a half - but I think it'll be worth it! Karen has set up different topis for everyday, so if you're stuck one thing, then you have another option.
At the moment I'm running two sites - one is this creative blog - mainly for design team work, and various one off cards I create for friends and the other is my business craft site, which I am in the middle of setting up - Melusberry Crafts - which you can visit. Thing is with Melusberry Crafts is that it has little content, so in order to fill this awesome crafty website space I have, I will be filling this website throughout June with content
and card-making goodness and even when the challenge is over I will
continue to craft and blog throughout the rest of the Summer, so pop back as much as you can to have a look at what's on the site at the moment! I'll be doubling up on posts and posting on this site, as well as on the Melusberry Crafts site - so please show some love on both sites - that would be brilliant & much appreciated! :)
So if you're up for the challenge of blogging something crafty everyday through June - GO FOR IT! It'll be awesome to see what inspires you all or alternatively what you guys are creating too! So take part if you can!
Kairen's Post is here: Blogging Everyday in June - which contains T's & C's, Rules and the opportunity to be entered into her Craft Bundle - all details of which are on the post. You'll also have option of putting a badge on your blog if you're craft-blogging everyday in June! Check out the post for more details! Take part and Spread the Craft-Blogging Word! :)

Here's my creation:
- 25mm Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
- Pink Cherry Blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts
- 8 x 8 First Paper Edition Rose Garden Paper Pad
- 6 x 6 Botanical Prima Paper Pad
- 6 x 6 Pink Paislee London Market Paper Pad
- Sizzix Hearts Sizzlits
- Tim Holtz Adage Tickets
- Greeting Farm Hello-Go-Round Stamp Set
- Dovecraft Tea Doilies
- EK Success Carnation Dimensional Flower Punch
- From Stamp Art Design, I used the Gracie image (a bonus sentiment is included with this image)
This card contains quite a few layers and I thought I would try something different this time round as I don't normally put a lot of flower embellishments on my card, as I feel it may be a bit crowded. But I really like how this turned out. I didn't colour the image in this time around as I literally wanted the image bare and I thought my skills in colouring would probably mess up the image beyond repair! (I just sometimes have moments when I'm really too heavy handed with my Promarkers!) And I still think it turned out quite sweet and simple and that's exactly how I wanted it to be.
Hope you guys like my creation and as always please have a look at the blog to see the fabulous Team A creations and come back next week for the inspirational post mid-challenge from Team B. Submit your creations in to our challenge this week and you could win some awesome prizes!
Challenge ends: Tuesday 4th June 2013

A card or project with a sentiment suitable for a baby or Mother and child.
Please don't forget the sentiment! You cannot win if you don't include a sentiment!
Our sponsor this fortnight are: A Day for Daisies
And here is a little bit about them:
A Day For Daisies was started by Tammy Siemers Thompson as a small token to her constant need to create. Pairing her love of whimsical illustration with her tidy graphic design background, introduced irresistibly sweet, high quality designs to stampers around the globe. Drawing from the world around her brings her joy and she strives to express this happiness in each stamp design she creates.
Presently, A Day For Daisies has grown to over 2,000 Digital Stamps with a quickly expanding line of Best Loved Clear Polymer. Our clear polymer stamps are of the highest quality photopolymer available and manufactured in the USA. A Day For Daisies has been published and awarded over the years for innovative and unique designs created to inspire the crafting community. With a whole team behind her now, Tammy remains passionate about stamping, obsessed with quality, and dedicated to her customers
So here my creation below:
Now, my printer seems to have a mind of its own, so I had to create a last minute card for this challenge – as my printer decided to malfunction on me! *Boo* So improvising was a probably key here!
- Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 6 x 6 Paper Pad – American Crafts
- Pretty Party Chipboard Stickers – Crate Paper
- White Ribbon
- White cardstock
- Sunset Foam Thickers Letters – American Crafts
- X-Cut Corner Rounder
- X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch
I used the white card stock as a base for my card and layered various bright papers from the Amy Tangerine paper pad. I used some white ribbon on the left hand side – tied into a bow, as well as using the foam stickers to spell out the word welcome, various strips of paper were cut with a trimmer and with the X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch and the X-Cut 1" square punch to make tailed layers just underneath the Welcome lettering, as well as a hand written sentiment of ‘Baby’ just underneath as well. The Pretty Party chipboard scalloped banner finished the card off. Corners rounded as the edge with an X-Cut corner rounder.
A sweet a simple card without the use of a computer or printer – unlike me, really! I always use a computer! Hope you guys like this cute make - love the bright colours on it!
As usual please check out the Challenge blog for inspiration and check out what the Team have created! Get your followers and fellow crafters to enter in this fortnight's challenge and you could win a prize with your fab entries! Make sure you come back to the Aud Sentiments Blog next week for more awesome inspiration by Team B
