Ele-phantastic @ Pinspirational Challenges!

A late post from my part - sorry everyone - and Elephants are taking over our challenge at Pinspirational Challenges for this week, so here's your picture to be inspired by:

Cute aren't they stacked on top of each other! :)

Here's creation for this week's challenge:

Here's a list of the materials / craft stuff I used for this card:
- Papermania Green Gems
- Green Twine from American Crafts
- First Paper Edition 6 x 6 Pad - New Leaf
- Caramel Linen Cardstock
- Lawn Fawn Hello Friend Stamp Set
- Momento Tuxedo Black Ink
- White card stock

I did a few bits of layering on top of the caramel linen cardstock, with the FPE New Leaf paper, the elephants are from a stash that I had from a project I did a few weeks back. The added green from the paper, the green twine and gems tie in the three mint green stacked elephants on the card and gives the card a simple and fun touch too :)

St Patrick's Day - Pinspiratonal Challenges

Another week of awesome entries at the Pins Blog has gone by and it's time to for guys to enter in this week's challenge too! This week we're saying a big farewell to Maggie, who is leaving us this week :( Wish you all the best Maggie, you've been a great member of the DT! So, we are looking to build up the DT again, so checkout the DT Team Call post here.

So without further ado, on to this week's picture - as It's near to St Patrick's Day, today's challenge pic for the week is this:

So here is my card below:

This mini 'Good Luck' card was created using the Good Luck Anya from the Greeting Farm, who's been coloured in with Promarkers (Forest Green, Bright Green, Apricot, Blush and Black). I layered her up on Spellbinders Lacy Ovals in K and Company's McKenna 12 x 12 paper pad, I used some burlap I purchased from Ebay to add some texture to the card, embossing the main card base (Caramel card stock - yep, using it all up until I've run out!) in Sizzix's Dots and Vines embossing folder. The 'Good Luck' sentiment was stamped in Lawn Fawn's Harold ABC alphabets stamp in Momento Tuxedo Black. Think it came out quite well, and very cute! :)

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize: 7 digis

and

Prize: 3 digis

Check out our DT's amazing creations on our blog and make sure you join in as well as tell all your crafty friends and followers to enter in our challenge and you could win some great digis!

Dots & Stripes at (Pin)spirational Challenges!

A few weeks ago I was asked to join the DT team on (Pin)spirational Challenges, which I was pretty chuffed with! So... without further ado I've created my card inspired by using this weeks (Pin)spirational image:

This week's challenge is sponsored by Pattie's Creations - so make sure you join us at (Pin)spirational Challenges and share your creations with us!

My card is below which I've created using mostly blue and green colours (green is my favourite colour, btw!) I've added a few stripey-themed papers (very subtly!) and the dots I've substituted for buttons!

The materials I've used are: Anita's Arts cream ribbon, cut to size to make the bow, the buttons are from a stash co-ordinated with the colours from the inspiration image. The stamp used is the Gretting Farm's Hula Anya colours in with Blush, Sky Blue, Bright Green, Sunflowers and Cinnamon Promarkers. I used a Spellbinders Lacy Ovals die, light blue cardstock as a base for the card and two green and blue papers from DCWV's Blossoms and Butterflies stack 8 x 8 cardstock pad. I also used a Martha Stewart corner punch and rounded the corners of the card too.

The card makes me feel very Summery, London town has been very rainy for the past few days (that's British weather for you!), so I'm hoping this card will bring London some sunshine! :)
