Two Words. Go!

The weather is getting slightly warmer in the UK, so it must be time for another Aud Sentiments Challenge! So this week we're setting you this challenge:

A card or project with a two-word sentiment - nice and easy, but brownie points for not using "Happy Birthday!"

Our sponsor this fortnight is: Bugaboo

And here's a little bit about them:
I decided to post a little about me as I find it is nice to put a face to the name on the internet!
My name is Jodie .(bottom, middle picture)
I am married and have 5 beautiful children, Skye, Isabella, Desiree, Sean, and Michael.

Add a dog a cat and a hubby to that .....a housefull!

I have been designing graphics for 9 years, mostly for those who digitize,
and now venturing into this new idea of digi stamps.
I love to draw and love to see were my designs go and how they are used.
I find making people smile with my graphics very rewarding!

For many many years I drew mostly cutesy kids graphics, alot of which you’ll find here.
But my latest passion is my cranky old boots....
Stella ,Gus, Margaret and the Gals who came after them.
I just LOVE to create them and they seem to be a favorite!

The winner of this challenge will get 7 free digis. Thank you so much to Bugaboo for sponsoring us!

So on to my creation for this fortnight's challenge:

 Supplies used:
Rose Garden Paper Pad 8 x 8 - First Paper Edition
Dovecraft Tea Doilies
Momento Rich Cocoa Ink
Momento Tuxedo Black Ink
Lace Ribbon
Scrap Material which has Floral Print
Sizzix Ticket Sizzlits Die
Promarkers (Forest Green, Bright Green, Rose Pink, Oatmeal, Sunflower, Walnut, Burnt Orange, Blush, Ruby, Caramel and Azure, I think!)

My Hero!

It's a new challenge over at the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog and this fortnight it's dedicated to the great men  and guys in our lives - whether they be your partner, husband, boyfriend, male friends or family member. So without further ado, here's your Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog task this fortnight:

We want to see a card or project for a man - with an appropriate sentiment

Our Sponsor this fortnight are Bugaboo

Here is a little bit about them...
"I have been designing graphics for 9 years, mostly for those who digitize, and now venturing into this new idea of digi stamps.   I love to draw and love to see where my designs go and how they are used.   I find making people smile with my graphics very rewarding!  For many many years I drew mostly cutesy kids graphics, a lot of which you’ll find on my site.  But my latest passion is my cranky old boots....
Stella ,Gus, Margaret and the Gals who came after them.
I just LOVE to create them and they seem to be a favorite!
What else can I say?
The name Bugaboo Stamps...how did I come up with it?
Well...... Bugaboo is a nickname i have for my kids sometimes."

So here's my creation:

I picked this image from our sponsors because I thought it would make a great dedication to the lovely guys in my life - so in this my Dad (Hey Dad!!!) and my lovely guy mates (who are awesome and make me laugh uncontrollably! Thanks guys - you know who you are!) - they're all proper 'heroes' for putting up with me! :)

Craft Supplies Used:
- Crate Paper / Paper Heart 12 x 12 paper pad
- X-Cut Square Punch
- 3D Foam dots
- Red Ribbon
- Lawn Fawn Harold ABC Letters Stamps
- Memento Black Tuxedo Ink
- Promarkers (Azure, Ruby, Oatmeal, Henna and Gold)

So this image is actually depicted on a men's tie. So as I couldn't remember what a men's tie looks like when it's someone (I did used to have one at school! A LONG time ago though!) I copied a tie template and draw it onto white cardstock and then copied this onto red paper from the Crate Paper collection. I then cut this out, left a little tab on the top for the ribbon and then coloured, cut and layered my 'Superhero' image on the tie using various other papers from the paper collection and with 3D foam dots. I threaded the red ribbon at the top of the tie and hung this on a coat hanger, so it actually looks like a proper tie!

Hope you guys my little creation, make sure you enter in this fortnight's challenge at the Aud Sentiments Blog. Tell your friends, your followers and any of your crafty friends about our challenges! Join in and get inspired! Check out our DT creations on the blog and as always - Happy Crafting! :)

Challenge ends until Tuesday 23rd April 2013

Rainy Days! @ Pins HQ

Hi everyone, this will be my penultimate post as part of the Pins Team, so I will be savouring my last few weeks on the team. But the team are in safe hands with some great additional DT Crew Members and I know they'll be awesome! So I would like to welcome Hilary, Sheetal, Kitt, Anat and Lisa Grace to the amazing Pinspirational Challenges DT!

So without further ado, here's your Pinspirational image to get you creative this week:

This image reminds me of walking through Chinatown in Central London in the rain with my friend. And we were trying to find a place to eat and we ended up wandering around in the rain looking for somewhere, and as it was Chinese New Year in London and the celebrations were dying somewhat down - it was still a bit busy and walking through the rain in a busy city - is not an easy task! Hey it rains in London most of the time now, so I think we're getting used to it! :)

Our sponsor(s) this week are:

Teams 1 and 2
  Prize: 7 digis
Prize: $10 voucher
Team members used images from Bugaboo for this challenge

Here's my creation:

Supplies I used:

- First Paper Edition Rose Garden 8 x 8 Paper Pad
- Sizzix Sizzlits Ticket Dies
- Pasrcel string
- Crop-o-dile & eyelets
- Spellbinders Labels Fourteen
- Die-namics Mini Doilies die
- Spellbinders Lacy Ovals die
- Promarkers

I've attached this little 'Save Up' sign to a container I put my pennies in or change for a 'Rainy Day' - which seems to occur a lot in London, so the jar is sometimes empty! :)
I did a lot of layering with the various papers from the First Edition Paper pad and die cut a few of the papers with the Spellbinders dies and the Die-namics doily dies. I coloured in one of the sponsors images with some Promarkers (Gold, Rose Pink, Bright Green, Forest Green, Antique Pink, Sky Blue, Oatmeal and Azure) I used a Crop-a-dile to put two eyelets in the top and threaded some parcel string in the top - attaching the finished sign on to my jar of pennies! :)

Hope you all will join in this week's Pins Challenge. Get your fellow crafters to take part in the challenge and you could win our weekly challenges! :)

Challenge ends Monday 15th April 2013, Midnight - Newfoundland Time

St Patrick's Day - Pinspiratonal Challenges

Another week of awesome entries at the Pins Blog has gone by and it's time to for guys to enter in this week's challenge too! This week we're saying a big farewell to Maggie, who is leaving us this week :( Wish you all the best Maggie, you've been a great member of the DT! So, we are looking to build up the DT again, so checkout the DT Team Call post here.

So without further ado, on to this week's picture - as It's near to St Patrick's Day, today's challenge pic for the week is this:

So here is my card below:

This mini 'Good Luck' card was created using the Good Luck Anya from the Greeting Farm, who's been coloured in with Promarkers (Forest Green, Bright Green, Apricot, Blush and Black). I layered her up on Spellbinders Lacy Ovals in K and Company's McKenna 12 x 12 paper pad, I used some burlap I purchased from Ebay to add some texture to the card, embossing the main card base (Caramel card stock - yep, using it all up until I've run out!) in Sizzix's Dots and Vines embossing folder. The 'Good Luck' sentiment was stamped in Lawn Fawn's Harold ABC alphabets stamp in Momento Tuxedo Black. Think it came out quite well, and very cute! :)

Our sponsors this week are:

Prize: 7 digis

and

Prize: 3 digis

Check out our DT's amazing creations on our blog and make sure you join in as well as tell all your crafty friends and followers to enter in our challenge and you could win some great digis!

Happy New Year from the Aud Sentiments crew! It is now 2013 and we're 9 days in - so maybe a belated Happy New Year is in order! :)

 Here's my Creation:

I used a caramel coloured linen cardstock as the base for my card and used paper from the Prima Fairybelle 6 x 6 Collection. Our Sponsor this week

Here's my creation:

I've created a box with lid using design papers from First Paper Editions Desert Blossom collection. To make the box I used the Martha Stewart scoring board. The box has a 2" depth around. I coloured up an image from our sponsor and then used 2 papers from the Blossoms and Buterflies collection from DCWV's 8 x 8 paper pad for the decoration. I used one of my favourite dies - Spellbinders Lacy Ovals die also.

I hope that our image and creations via the DT have inspired you to join in our challenge this week! Have a look at our blog and enter in our awesome challenge! Tell your crafting friends, groups and followers to join in and create too and follow our blog for future updatesand more challenges! Happy Crafting!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!

Well I've been through a bit of a week this week as I celebrated my 27th birthday on the 4th September! Woohoo! Go me! I am personally fine about this as the more I get older, the younger I look, it seems. I still get asked for ID when I go to 15 rated movies, when I buy Christmas Crackers in a store, or when I buy alcohol in the local supermarket. I still get asked for ID when I buy UK lottery tickets. I think maybe the various Carebear t-shirts I still wear are giving it away!

Anyways - as I live and work in London I 've had the most awesome week - going to see the Paralympics (Sitting Volleyball with my friend Ad, and going to the Olympic Park with my friend T) Going for dinner with my nearest & dearest, spending time with Mum and Dad, as well as spending time with some really close friends of mine - and it's been really fun, exhausting but fun! So in dedication of friends who want to have fun, well possibly mainly the girls - here's to the next challenge at Aud Sentiments! This fortnight we're asking you to...

Create a Card, Project or Anything with a Funny Sentiment
