Details of the DT call are below as well:

If you would like to become part of our DT, just enter this challenge and add DT behind your name on your entry

So what are you letting yourself in for?
Well, you don't need to have been on a DT before.  You need to commit to a project every fortnight.  You also need to commit to commenting on entries -  but not all of them...we have a system!

What will you get?
Kudos for a start!  Some of our challenges have over 200 entries, so we are fairly well known in blogland.  You gain the experience of working in a DT - with a great group of creative people!!!  You will get digital images to work with from our lovely sponsors.  And you get to help pick winners.

We are happy for non card makers to apply too - we are always open to other media because we feel it can add a new element to our challenges.  So if you scrapbook, photograph, paint...whatever, why not try out?  Its all about the creativity!

And of course, we are very informal and flexible.  We know life gets busy and is subject to twists and turns.  So we are not over-demanding or too precious!  We know you are giving us your time, energy and creativity, we also know you have lives outside blogland!

So get your creative and crafty friends to take part in this fortnight's challenge and for those who want to be part of the Aud Sentiments DT experience - make sure you follow the details above to be a potential DT member!

Happy Crafting! :)

Girl Power @ Aud Sentiments

Hi Everyone!

A bit of a late post for this fortnight's challenge over at Aud Sentiments! Make sure you take part and get involved with the current challenge!

I've sneaked into Team B's post today, so for the remainder of this week, make sure you have a peak at Team B's as well as Team A's creations for the challenge!

The theme is: Feminine and this can be interpreted in any way you like. Your card can be for a boyfriend, husband, partner or even best friend - and don't forget to include a sentiment!

We're sponsored by Sassy Studio Designs

- x -

Here's my creations below:

This week I did something a little different! Everything on this card has been made digitally through my IPad. I used an app called 'A Beautiful Mess' and created a digital card image instead of the usual papercrafting. I softened the image with a lot of pinks and reds, as well as a hint of yellow and made the card that bit more vibrant and flirty, without it being too overpowering. Hope you guys like this! Love the outcome!

Check out the Aud Sentiments Blog and be inspired by the Teams' designs! Get all of your crafty friends and followers to join in too!

Happy Crafting!

I made a paper Christmas Wreath using one of our sponsor pictures in the middle of the wreath and a Christmas sentiment to much! Love how it turned out!

Sentiment for a Child - Aud Sentiments

Its another fortnightly challenge at Aud Sentiments this week, so here's the theme for this challenge!

We would like you to create a card or project with a sentiment for a child

For this challenge we are sponsored by not just one, but two sponsors:

Beccy's Place

and

Imagine That

Here's a little information about both sponsors

Beccy's Place

I love spending time in my craft room designing and creating with paper, fabric, flowers, ribbons, paint... anything I can get my hands on really. I have tried many different arts and crafts and have a particular passion for papercrafts, decorative painting and ribbon embroidery. I love to share ideas and "how to's" with other keen crafters, which is the purpose of this blog.

Imagine That!

A li'l about me... my name is Kris and I'm married to a wonderful Christian man of 17 years.  We live in the high desert of Central Oregon with our 2 daughters... my li'l muses who inspire many of my drawings.  My love of card-making, drawing & digital coloring lead me to illustrating my own line of digi stamps & papers and the opening of this web store in January 2013.  I thoroughly enjoy this hobby-turned-business and love to see my art incorporated into your crafting projects! The categories are growing quickly, so you're sure to find something that tickles your fancy *Ü*

Thank you to our sponsors this fortnight!

For this challenge, I've created the card below:

Thought I would do a cute-sy card today using Sweet Tia from Some Odd Girl and using one of the sentiment words from one of our sponsors - 'Piles of Smiles' (which is from Beccy's Place, I think!)

So please do check out the blog for inspired and fantastic makes from Team A, make sure you pop along and see Team B's creations next week up on the blog and get your craft loving friends to enter into our challenge!

Happy crafting! :)

Any Sentiment Time!

Hello Everyone, hope you're all well and in the crafting mood this week!

We have another awesome challenge over on the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog, so come on over and join in the fun!

This fortnight your challenge is to: Create a card or project with Any Sentiment you like!

And our sponsor this fortnight is: Priarie Fairy

They are giving the winner $10 to use in their store.  Thanks so much!

Here is a little bit about them...

"I am a small town girl with a passion for all things creative. I have been a creator since childhood, doodling like crazy, building forts and climbing trees. I have always loved anything magical and sparkly, though oddly enough I don't sparkle myself up much! Through the years I have tried my hand at many things. I have always believed that if I really wanted to do something, I could or I would figure out how to. Can't is not really a word in my vocabulary. My favorite saying is "I am willing to try anything at least once, though sometimes I am sorry I tried it!" I love teaching and sharing what I have learned along the way. I resisted the computer for years until a friend introduced me to blogging. Not long after digital stamping started to make a splash in blog land and I jumped on the boat. I spent a good year learning all about everything digital and now here I am."

- x -

My creation is below:

I used various papers from Crate Paper and American Crafts, as well as some pink twine, some satin red roses and pink & red adhesive jewels.

Hope you guys like my little tag creation, I chose Happy Birthday as a sentiment as my birthday's coming up next month, and it's always one of those sentiments that is a classic and always a favourite! Love it!

As always check out the amazing creations by Team A this week and then Team B next for some inspiration and join in our challenge!

Happy Crafting everyone! :)

(Please don't forget the sentiment!)

Our sponsor for this challenge is: Stamp Art Design

Feeling Flirty @ Aud Sentiments

Hey everyone and welcome to another fortnightly challenge at Aud Sentiments! Now is it just me or is the time just going really, really quickly? It's just coming up to August now and two thirds into the year - where has the time gone, seriously! Trying to enjoy the Summer in the UK where I can! :)

This fortnight for our Aud Sentiments challenge, we're feeling rather flirty, so it's time to get those thinking caps on to come up with a project or card for the theme!

So for the challenge: Make a card or project for your husband, partner, boyfriend or a crush using a flirty sentiment
(Examples we had were: Happy Birthday Sexy, Naughty or Nice? etc)
Please don't forget your sentiment!

Our sponsor for this challenge are: Sassy Studio Designs
Thank you for sponsoring us this fortnight!

- x -

So for this challenge, I've created this card below:

Now, I for one don't do 'sexy' or 'flirty' for some odd reason, err - it's just something waaaay out of my comfort zone, but it was pretty fun to do and to come up with something that represents something 'flirty'. So I hope I've done it some justice! :)

Please check out the Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog for Team A's fabulous creations with various Sassy Studio Design images and check out the blog the week after for Team B's equally gorgeous creations!

Challenges Ends: Tuesday 13th August

Welcome Baby @ Aud Sentiments

Hey everyone! First off, a BIG THANK YOU to those who participated in the Aud Sentiments 3rd Birthday Blog Hop! It was an amazing success and it being my first ever Blog Hop in the history of Craft Blogging, I really enjoyed it and all your comments were as ever inspiring and awesome - so thank you to those who took their time to take part in the blog hop and leave fabulous comments for not just me, but for the rest of the Aud Sentiments Design Team who took part too.

So this fortnight we have kicked off another great challenge and we are asking you all to be create:

A card or project with a sentiment suitable for a baby or Mother and child.
Please don't forget the sentiment!  You cannot win if you don't include a sentiment!

Our sponsor this fortnight are: A Day for Daisies

And here is a little bit about them:

A Day For Daisies was started by Tammy Siemers Thompson as a  small token to her constant need to create. Pairing her love of whimsical illustration with her  tidy graphic design background, introduced irresistibly sweet, high quality designs to stampers around the globe. Drawing from the world around her brings her joy and she strives to express this happiness in each stamp design she creates.

Presently, A Day For Daisies has grown to over 2,000 Digital Stamps with a quickly expanding line of Best Loved Clear Polymer. Our clear polymer stamps are of the highest quality photopolymer available and manufactured in the USA. A Day For Daisies has been published and awarded over the years for innovative and unique designs created to inspire the crafting community. With a whole team behind her now, Tammy remains passionate about stamping, obsessed with quality, and dedicated to her customers

- x-

So here my creation below:

Now, my printer seems to have a mind of its own, so I had to create a last minute card for this challenge – as my printer decided to malfunction on me! *Boo* So improvising was a probably key here!

Supplies used:

- Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 6 x 6 Paper Pad – American Crafts

- Pretty Party Chipboard Stickers – Crate Paper

- White Ribbon

- White cardstock

- Sunset Foam Thickers Letters – American Crafts

- X-Cut Corner Rounder

- X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch

I used the white card stock as a base for my card and layered various bright papers from the Amy Tangerine paper pad. I used some white ribbon on the left hand side – tied into a bow, as well as using the foam stickers to spell out the word welcome, various strips of paper were cut with a trimmer and with the X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch and the X-Cut 1" square punch to make tailed layers just underneath the Welcome lettering, as well as a hand written sentiment of ‘Baby’ just underneath as well. The Pretty Party chipboard scalloped banner finished the card off. Corners rounded as the edge with an X-Cut corner rounder.
A sweet a simple card without the use of a computer or printer – unlike me, really! I always use a computer! Hope you guys like this cute make - love the bright colours on it!

As usual please check out the Challenge blog for inspiration and check out what the Team have created! Get your followers and fellow crafters to enter in this fortnight's challenge and you could win a prize with your fab entries! Make sure you come back to the Aud Sentiments Blog next week for more awesome inspiration by Team B

Challenge Ends Tuesday 21st May 2013

Rock Star!

Another fortnightly challenge on Aud Sentiments has launched and this fortnight:

We want to see a card or project for a child WITH a sentiment!

Check out our challenge blog to see our amazing DT creations!

Here's my creation:

Here's a list of materials and craft materials I used for this card:
- Papermania Silver & Pink Gems
- DCWV Blossoms and Butterflies 8 x 8 pad
- Cream cardstock

So I thought I would do a simple card for this challenge without too much flower power on it, or endless list of embellishments, I also as part of the 'Social Media' generation thought I would 'digitise' the image using a mobile application :)

So first of all I used a Social Media application on my phone (I have a Samsung Galaxy S2) called Lumie Light after downloading my chosen image on my phone. I added a star filter to the picture which you may not be able to see - as I used the lowest - medium setting on intensity - which highlighted mostly her clothes and mic. I then put a polaroid frame around the picture and printed this out. I then cut this picture, mounted this on two piece of paper from the DCWV collection pad, then added the sentiment 'Rock Star' in a hot pink colour and printed this out too. I added the various coloured gems from Papermania to add more sparkle and bling to an already 'star-studded' image! Simple and cool :) Hope you like!

For this challenge we have two sponsors:

Hello, my name is Laurie.  I am a wife, mother of 2, crafter, and artist of many trades.  I'm just a regular Joe crafter.  I decided it would be FUN to put my images up at affordable prices for anyone to purchase and use for their personal crafting.  It is not my dream to be the biggest or the best or the most popular.  I truly enjoy what I do and enjoy sharing the creativity that God has given me in the hopes it will inspire others to create too.

Each doodle of mine has a special place in my life.  Even if they were done for a special customer request.  I drew it for a certain reason, maybe someone I know whom I had in mind to make a card for, or just someone that inspired me in some way, and sometimes it was just a random thought of a funny little critter doing something critter-ish that I thought would be cute. I have a variety of doodling styles and I like to keep a diverse selection at my hand for my personal creations.
I hope you enjoy creating to your hearts content with some of my doodles.  But if my images don't suit your personal tastes, I sincerely hope something here inspires you to go create something unique that then puts a smile on another's face
~ Laurie Wilson

...and

Welcome to Imagine That!...digis by Kris™ and also home of Carly's Cuties™

We're so glad you're here!!  We're a mother/daughter team bringing you our cutest hand-drawn digital images that you can resize, flip, recolor, print and use in your crafting creations!  This store is brand new and we hope to add lots more digis in the coming weeks/months, so please check back often!

So check out Design Team A's creations and stop by on the Aud Sentiments Challenge blog for more amazing creations by Team B!

Our sponsor for this fortnight is: Prairie Fairy

Here's a little info too:
"I am a small town girl with a passion for all things creative. I have been a creator since childhood, doodling like crazy, building forts and climbing trees. I have always loved anything magical and sparkly, though oddly enough I don't sparkle myself up much! Through the years I have tried my hand at many things. I spent a good year learning all about everything digital and now here I am."

Here's my creation below:

I used caramel cardstock as a base for my tag, and layered this with paper from First Paper Edition's 8 x 8 Rose Garden pad. The doily and circle die cut is from X-Cut's Vintage Doily die and Spellbinders Eyelet Circle nestabilities, die cut from green card and funnily enough First Paper Edition's Stocking Filler Christmas 6 x 6 papers! The crochet lace at the bottom is from Wild Orchid Crafts and the 'Easter' sentiment was made using the Papermania Scrabble tiles.

Valentine's @ Aud Sentiments

Another fortnightly challenge has been launched at Aud Sentiments! And this fortnight - it's Valentine's... Ooooh

So this fortnight, we want to: create a project or card with an Adult Valentine's Sentiment

Our sponsor this fortnight is: Sassy Studio Designs

Here's a little info on our fab sponsor:

I coloured in our sponsored image with Promarkers (Henna, Oatmeal, Cardinal Red, Rose Pink, Antique Pink and Poppy) This was cut out using the XCut Square Parenthesis Nesting dies and embossed a caramel linen cardstock with the Crafts Too You Hearts embossing folder. I used a doily as a layer underneath and used two papers from the Glitz Pretty in Pink 6 x 6 paper pad. It's quite a sweet project and as it's nearly February - it's perfect forValentine's!

Biiinnnggggoooo!

I love a bit of Bingo me, no lie I used to actually play Bingo with my parents at the Bingo Hall in South London, local to us for quite a few years. I was no doubt one of the youngest in there! But I liked a good ol' game. I do miss it!

So in honour of remembering a good game of Bingo - this fortnight's challenge at Aud Sentiments is our awesome Bingo Grid! Big clap for the Bingo grid *applause*

So with this board, you can create! Use one row horizontally or vertically from the grid and create a card or project using the materials and words in relation to that row. So for example if you picked a vertical row you have to use 'Embossing', 'Bling' and the word 'Joy' in your card or project, or if you were doing a horizontal line you have to use 'Merry', 'Embossing' and 'Snow'. You can also use a diagonal line too! So get those creative mind working. The possibilities are endless!

Here's my creation:

I used a sponsored image as the main picture for my card, and chose the horizontal row consisting of 'Ribbon', the word 'Joy' and 'Die Cut'. So I used papers from the Kaisercraft Christmas 6 x 6 paper pad, caramel linen card stock as the base, a Spellbinders Lacy Ovals die, two out of the three snowflake dies from Marianne Creatables, and some red satin ribbon from my stash. I stamped 'Joy' using Lawn Fawn's Harold ABC's letter set, punched an eyelet with my Crop-O-Dile and used parcel string to tie the sentiment on to the ribbon. The extra bling is from Papermania :) We like a bit of bling!

Our sponsor this fortnight is: The Paper Shelter

And the prize is...

Here is a little info about our lovely sponsor:

Can't believe it's 6ish weeks until Christmas. This year has gone waaaay to fast! It's November and our challenge at Aud Sentiments this fortnight is:

Create a card or project which includes a sentiment giving thanks!
So that could be Thanksgiving, or it could be "Thanks for being my friend" or any other sentiment you can think of which includes the word "THANKS".

We're sponsored this fortnight by: Di's Digi Designs

Here's some info about them:
Di's Digi Designs do a great range of cute images - for boys, girls, you name it!
They also have a range of backgrounds for you to use...AND, if your colouring is not fabulous...you can buy a pre-coloured image instead!

The prize this fortnight courtesy of our sponsors is a $10 gift voucher for the store.
So what are you waiting for? Come & join in our challenge & spread the word!

Here's my creation below:

This is just a little card to the incredible friends I have in my life. Those who's stuck by me, and always been there for me when times have been tough. Those who I trust, who are nearest and dearest and have always cheered me up no end - and give the biggest hugs too! :) This card is dedicated to them and to say a 'Huge Thank You!'

I used caramel card for the base of my card, and then used paper from the Love Letters 6 x 6 First Paper Edition paper pad. The image is Princess Tia from Some Odd Girl, I used a Spellbinders lacy circles oval die for the background and Anita's Art ribbon for the bow - with button detail. The stamp set I used for the sentiment is Lawn Fawn's Harold's ABC alphabet - which sets it off nicely :)

Check out Team A's creation from our DT team and stop by the following week for Team B's creation to get you inspired!

Challenge ends Tuesday 20th November 2012

Falling in Love with Aud Sentiments...

I love a good ol' love story. Little bit of romance wouldn't go a miss in anyone's life! I personally haven't got love in my life at the moment, but hey I'm in no rush... Waiting for my Prince to come along and sweep me off my feet! So in preparation for that moment in time, we're asking you guys to enter in this fortnight's Aud Sentiments challenge by...

Creating a card or project with the word 'Fall' in it... (this can either be a seasonal card for 'fall' or can include a phrase or play on the word 'fall' - like 'fallen for you...')

Our sponsor this fortnight is: Digital Delights, the winner for this fortnight is a $5 gift voucher :)

So below is my little sweet card:

I've used a digital image from Some Odd Girl called Love Letter Kaylee, which I coloured in with Promarkers. The paper used is from Love Letters by First Paper Edition mounted on some craft cardstock for the base and pink ribbon from Anita's Art. The sentiment 'Falling in love with you...' has been printed out on white 160gsm cardstock on Microsoft Word with the font KG Sweet Sixteen which you can download from the Dafont.com.

Enter in our challenge at Aud Sentiments HQ - we'd love to see your awesome creations! Make sure you check out our DT creations too - which are always fabulous! :)

With the Christmas season upon us, it's a perfect time to fall in love and find that special someone if you haven't already and if you have - awesome - you're very, very lucky! Now... where's that frog :)
