Sentiment for a Child - Aud Sentiments

Its another fortnightly challenge at Aud Sentiments this week, so here's the theme for this challenge!

We would like you to create a card or project with a sentiment for a child

For this challenge we are sponsored by not just one, but two sponsors:

Beccy's Place

and

Imagine That

Here's a little information about both sponsors

Beccy's Place

I love spending time in my craft room designing and creating with paper, fabric, flowers, ribbons, paint... anything I can get my hands on really. I have tried many different arts and crafts and have a particular passion for papercrafts, decorative painting and ribbon embroidery. I love to share ideas and "how to's" with other keen crafters, which is the purpose of this blog.

Imagine That!

A li'l about me... my name is Kris and I'm married to a wonderful Christian man of 17 years.  We live in the high desert of Central Oregon with our 2 daughters... my li'l muses who inspire many of my drawings.  My love of card-making, drawing & digital coloring lead me to illustrating my own line of digi stamps & papers and the opening of this web store in January 2013.  I thoroughly enjoy this hobby-turned-business and love to see my art incorporated into your crafting projects! The categories are growing quickly, so you're sure to find something that tickles your fancy *Ü*

Thank you to our sponsors this fortnight!

For this challenge, I've created the card below:

Thought I would do a cute-sy card today using Sweet Tia from Some Odd Girl and using one of the sentiment words from one of our sponsors - 'Piles of Smiles' (which is from Beccy's Place, I think!)

So please do check out the blog for inspired and fantastic makes from Team A, make sure you pop along and see Team B's creations next week up on the blog and get your craft loving friends to enter into our challenge!

Happy crafting! :)

So here's my creation for this Summer challenge

I used various papers from American Crafts Collections - Take Note, Abroad & Amy Tangerine's Yes Please collection. I used the Lacy Ovals and Ovals dies from Spellbinders, blue cherry blossoms from Wild Orchid Crafts, small blue satin roses from Papermania, EK Success' Carnation 3D flower punch and Fiskars' Doily border punch. The image is Summer Mae from Some Odd Girl and the sentiment 'Wish You Were Here' was stamped in Harold's ABC from Lawn Fawn inked in Momento's Tuxedo Black and edged in Momento's Blue Lagoon.

Hope you like my creation. Team A's creations are live on the Aud Sentiments Blog site now, make sure you come back for Team B's creations for more awesome inspiration!

Thaaaaank Yooou!

Can't believe it's 6ish weeks until Christmas. This year has gone waaaay to fast! It's November and our challenge at Aud Sentiments this fortnight is:

Create a card or project which includes a sentiment giving thanks!
So that could be Thanksgiving, or it could be "Thanks for being my friend" or any other sentiment you can think of which includes the word "THANKS".

We're sponsored this fortnight by: Di's Digi Designs

Here's some info about them:
Di's Digi Designs do a great range of cute images - for boys, girls, you name it!
They also have a range of backgrounds for you to use...AND, if your colouring is not fabulous...you can buy a pre-coloured image instead!

The prize this fortnight courtesy of our sponsors is a $10 gift voucher for the store.
So what are you waiting for? Come & join in our challenge & spread the word!

Here's my creation below:

This is just a little card to the incredible friends I have in my life. Those who's stuck by me, and always been there for me when times have been tough. Those who I trust, who are nearest and dearest and have always cheered me up no end - and give the biggest hugs too! :) This card is dedicated to them and to say a 'Huge Thank You!'

I used caramel card for the base of my card, and then used paper from the Love Letters 6 x 6 First Paper Edition paper pad. The image is Princess Tia from Some Odd Girl, I used a Spellbinders lacy circles oval die for the background and Anita's Art ribbon for the bow - with button detail. The stamp set I used for the sentiment is Lawn Fawn's Harold's ABC alphabet - which sets it off nicely :)

Check out Team A's creation from our DT team and stop by the following week for Team B's creation to get you inspired!

Challenge ends Tuesday 20th November 2012

Waiting for my Prince to come along and sweep me off my feet! So in preparation for that moment in time, we're asking you guys to enter in this fortnight's Aud Sentiments challenge by...

Creating a card or project with the word 'Fall' in it... (this can either be a seasonal card for 'fall' or can include a phrase or play on the word 'fall' - like 'fallen for you...')

So below is my little sweet card:

I've used a digital image from Some Odd Girl called Love Letter Kaylee, which I coloured in with Promarkers. The paper used is from Love Letters by First Paper Edition mounted on some craft cardstock for the base and pink ribbon from Anita's Art. The sentiment 'Falling in love with you...' has been printed out on white 160gsm cardstock on Microsoft Word with the font KG Sweet Sixteen which you can download from the Dafont.com.

Enter in our challenge at Aud Sentiments HQ - we'd love to see your awesome creations! Make sure you check out our DT creations too - which are always fabulous! :)
