I love spending time in my craft room designing and creating with paper, fabric, flowers, ribbons, paint... anything I can get my hands on really. I have tried many different arts and crafts and have a particular passion for papercrafts, decorative painting and ribbon embroidery. I love to share ideas and "how to's" with other keen crafters, which is the purpose of this blog.

A li'l about me... my name is Kris and I'm married to a wonderful Christian man of 17 years.  We live in the high desert of Central Oregon with our 2 daughters... my li'l muses who inspire many of my drawings.  My love of card-making, drawing & digital coloring lead me to illustrating my own line of digi stamps & papers and the opening of this web store in January 2013.  I thoroughly enjoy this hobby-turned-business and love to see my art incorporated into your crafting projects! Anything Goes & DT Call at Aud Sentiments!

Hi everyone. Hope you're having a great week so far. It is nearly the weekend, so hang in there 'cos it's only 2 days to go! :)

At Aud Sentiments this fortnight we have a new challenge and it is the ever popular ANYTHING GOES! So we're asking you to submit your entries to our blog with a card / project - with a sentiment - to the tune of whatever you want and any theme you want - just make sure you have a sentiment! Couldn't be easier!

We also have DT Call so if you would like to become a member of our Design Team check out our post here that outlines all the details for you and a few terms and conditions to look over too, so check that out when your submitting your entries. Blue Roses at Pinspirational Challenges!

Another lovely weekly challenge at Pinspirational Challenges is here! So here is this week's image...

Here's my creation:

So, I didn't follow a blue theme, but I followed the 'rose' theme - lots of reds, pinks and even roses for embellishments! I made this tag using linen caramel cardstock, punched with a doily lace punch at the bottom. The paper used was from the Papermania Capsule collection, and the 'top note' die is from a stash I had. The sparkly jewels are from Papermani also, and the roses and ribbon embellishments are from my stash too. I bought the roses from ebay in a pack of 30 or so, and the ribbon is from a habadashery stall at a 'thrift' market. The string is parcel string for the top of the tag and the hanger paperclip is from set of 30 I bought from a stationers called Tiger in London. Which are very similar to the Tim Holtz ones. The iamge is from our Team 2 sponsor - Stanp Art Design.

Christmas Puddings at Pins HQ!

It's getting closer to Christmas - only 7 weeks or to go and I hope you've all started making your holiday cards! :) So this week at Pinspirational Challenges HQ we're getting festive!

Here's my creation using our sponsor's image:

I recently bought a heat tool and some emobossing powder and got ridiculously carried away with the thing and ended up heat embossing every piece of card I had in the house, but to be honest - I really love it and I can't wait to keep embossing stuff! So I used a Versamark ink pad to emboss a snowflake stamp on some caramel card stock. I used white embossing powder to cover the snowflakes and heated them with a heat tool. The paper I used was from the Back to Basics Christmas 8 x 8 pad and coloured the christmas puddings in Cinnamon and Walnut Promakers. Simple card with added cuteness!

So.... get your Christmas hats on and start crafting your awesome cards or projects based on our Pins image!
