Welcome Baby @ Aud Sentiments

Hey everyone! First off, a BIG THANK YOU to those who participated in the Aud Sentiments 3rd Birthday Blog Hop! It was an amazing success and it being my first ever Blog Hop in the history of Craft Blogging, I really enjoyed it and all your comments were as ever inspiring and awesome - so thank you to those who took their time to take part in the blog hop and leave fabulous comments for not just me, but for the rest of the Aud Sentiments Design Team who took part too.

So this fortnight we have kicked off another great challenge and we are asking you all to be create:

A card or project with a sentiment suitable for a baby or Mother and child.
Please don't forget the sentiment!  You cannot win if you don't include a sentiment!

Our sponsor this fortnight are: A Day for Daisies

And here is a little bit about them:

A Day For Daisies was started by Tammy Siemers Thompson as a  small token to her constant need to create. Pairing her love of whimsical illustration with her  tidy graphic design background, introduced irresistibly sweet, high quality designs to stampers around the globe. Drawing from the world around her brings her joy and she strives to express this happiness in each stamp design she creates.

Presently, A Day For Daisies has grown to over 2,000 Digital Stamps with a quickly expanding line of Best Loved Clear Polymer. Our clear polymer stamps are of the highest quality photopolymer available and manufactured in the USA. A Day For Daisies has been published and awarded over the years for innovative and unique designs created to inspire the crafting community. With a whole team behind her now, Tammy remains passionate about stamping, obsessed with quality, and dedicated to her customers

So here my creation below:

Now, my printer seems to have a mind of its own, so I had to create a last minute card for this challenge – as my printer decided to malfunction on me! *Boo* So improvising was a probably key here!

Supplies used:

- Amy Tangerine Sketchbook 6 x 6 Paper Pad – American Crafts

- Pretty Party Chipboard Stickers – Crate Paper

- White Ribbon

- White cardstock

- Sunset Foam Thickers Letters – American Crafts

- X-Cut Corner Rounder

- X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch

I used the white card stock as a base for my card and layered various bright papers from the Amy Tangerine paper pad. I used some white ribbon on the left hand side – tied into a bow, as well as using the foam stickers to spell out the word welcome, various strips of paper were cut with a trimmer and with the X-Cut Scalloped Border Punch and the X-Cut 1" square punch to make tailed layers just underneath the Welcome lettering, as well as a hand written sentiment of ‘Baby’ just underneath as well. The Pretty Party chipboard scalloped banner finished the card off. Corners rounded as the edge with an X-Cut corner rounder.
A sweet a simple card without the use of a computer or printer – unlike me, really! I always use a computer! Hope you guys like this cute make - love the bright colours on it!
